They brought in the editor-in-chief of the website Icrontic, Brian Ambrozy, to debate the subject with radio host Neal Asbury. FOX’s problem isn’t so much the fact that games are now considered art, but that as an NEA recognized art form, game development could receive funding from the government....

A few different Fortnite players and Reddit users, including Tactical_Peperoni, General Erica and Niccorazi, have some pretty compelling evidence that a meteor is currently streaming through the skies on its way to an impact site right at the Tilted Towers. The theory started with a few different users confirming sightings of a blue, pulsing object moving through the skyline. Original story follows. Changes are coming to Fortnite’s current Infinity Blade event. Since December 13, Fortnite players have rushed to collect the newly added Mythic weapon, often leading to very quick and bloody rounds in the battle royale. However, complaints have been said about the Infinity Blade’s overall strength and how Fortnite rounds with the weapon can feel unfair and unfun. Epic has since responded, acknowledging the weapon’s strength and confirming that it’ll be nerfed soon....

As detailed in the latest weekly update post on the Epic Games website, Fortnite is losing three items from Battle Royale for the foreseeable future. In addition to the powerful Quad Launcher, the Port-A-Fortress and Grappler items have also been thrown into the vault. Unfortunately for fans, the post didn’t provide any reasons as to why those items were chosen or if either of them will be making a return at some point....

New to the Forza Horizon series are Expeditions. As the name implies, these are campaign-style event types that players can participate in alongside the other expected Showcase modes. Each one highlights a particular section of the map narrated by the NPC Ramero. With regards to how robust the Events Lab mode is in Forza Horizon 5, creative director Mike Brown goes so far as saying that it’s based on Playground’s own internal design tools. Forza Horizon 5 players obviously won’t have the kind of freedom as Playground’s designers, but Brown does say that it’s a similar tool that’s been altered so it’s fit for use from players. These tools, however, are “very much meant for game developers,” Brown clarifies....

Forza Horizon 5 is being developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios, and it is set to release this November 9. In preparation for the game’s upcoming release, the official website revealed the detailed PC specifications of Forza Horizon 5.
