Lifting Weights:

It has been proved that lifting weights will result in increase of body weight as it activates hormone response systems, thereby engaging numerous muscles. The routine must include: Squats, deadlifts, presses (bench and overhead), pull-ups, rows, dips, snatches, power cleans, clean and jerks.

Intake of protein:

It has to be made sure that protein, the key for muscle building, needs to be taken in adequate volume along with carbohydrates and fats. Nuts and dairy products are the go-to food items in this case.

Eat Less:

Eating three large meals or five to six small meals a day is always the right way to go about when you want a fit body. Opt for food with nutritional calories and starch rich foods like potatoes. The more junk food you eat, the more you dispossess yourself of nutrients.

Healthy fats:

Take egg yolks, meat with animal fat, coconut oil, and other healthy fats. Bananas also help in gaining weight.
