A 17-year-old has been charged with second-degree murder, while three others, none older than 23, were charged with first-degree assault.

Nolan, a 6-foot-7 left-handed pitcher, was shot in the head and torso in a drive-by shooting while at a Burger King. He was placed in a medically induced coma in the Bronx and died Oct. 8.

Nolan was selected in the 18th round of the 2014 MLB Draft. The 23-year-old signed with the A’s later in the year, but soon after was put on the restricted list of the A’s Arizona League affiliate.
