Naturally, this milestone has given Ninja a reason to celebrate, and as seen in the tweet below, the Twitch streamer has decided to thank his fans in a show of gratitude with a message on social media. The professional Fortnite player remarked on the journey his career has taken him, stating, “I have been streaming for a very very long time… and I cannot express how grateful I am to be in the position I am in.”
For those unaware, Ninja isn’t exaggerating when it comes to the lengthy amount of time he’s put into streaming and gaming as a whole, as his career as a professional gamer started with him playing Halo 3 in 2009 for various teams such as Cloud9, Renegades, and Team Liquid, which then led to him streaming on Justin.tv back in 2011. Later on, Ninja began using Twitch to stream his sessions, and is currently with Luminosity Gaming. No doubt, his abilities in Fortnite are surely becoming even more honed by the day.
Taking all of this into account, it will be interesting to see just how much larger Ninja’s fan base will become, especially since it looks as if the Fortnite hype isn’t dying down any time soon. As a matter of fact, the success of Epic Games’ title has even inspired some parents to start hiring coaches in order to help their kids earn a Victory Royale. So, we will simply have to wait and see what else the future holds for gaming’s battle royale landscape.
Fortnite is available now on iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with a release on Android planned for summer 2018.
